Description:
The LC6 table was originally designed in 1928, a mathematically refined structure of steel and glass. Made of aeronautical steel, the base is welded for a seamless finish with sculpted angles and smooth, mitred corners.
The table top is a 19mm-thick rectangle of tempered glass, making the LC6 equally right as a dining table or in the conference room. Together the elements create a beautiful sense of line, scale and proportion.
Made in Italy. Manufactured by Alivar under licence from Le Corbusier and originally purchased from Aptos Cruz gallery in South Australia around 1994.
In good condition. There are a number of small scratches on the glass surface but no major scuffs or dents. Verified authentic and available now in Melbourne.
