Description:
The Vitra Eames La Chaise was originally designed in 1948 and was a conceptual free-form and organically designed daybed on which a user could either sit or lie. As it was so difficult and expensive to produce the Eames La Chaise, it was only released in 1991 to the original design of two bonded fibre glass shells before changing to use polyurethane in 2001. With its scultpural curves and wooden base this is truly an iconic piece. Condition is very good with one mark on the seat as per the photo. Purchased from Space Furniture in Sydney in 2002. Verified authentic and available now.
