Description:
Set of six Standard Chair by Jean Prouve, Vitra Edition 2002. Vitra's Standard Chair, originally designed by Jean Prouve in 1934, has a special metal structure inspired by Prouve’s engineering background. As most of the sitter’s weight is carried by chair’s back legs, Prouve decided to place large, hollow steel legs to the back and slim ones to the front of the chair. The set of six comprises of 3 red frames, 2 light blue frames and 1 cream frame with natural finished oak seat and back rest. The versatile chair can be used for as a dining chair or in an office. Original label on the underside and in very good condition with a few minor scratches. Priced as the set.
